He was a member of the boards of the Southern Tier Zoological Society and the Binghamton YMCA. Jim had many passions: golf, basketball, gardening, running out of the YMCA with his friends, platform tennis, cross country skiing, walking and making a great Manhattan. Above all, he was passionate about his family. Jim and Kay spent 30 years at their beloved Cape Cod home where Jim loved designing and planting his fabulous gardens.
