Obituary of Marguerite A. Svoboda

Marguerite (Gregoire) Svoboda, 77, originally from Binghamton, NY, passed away January 28, 2021 at Yorktown Manor in Yorktown Indiana. She was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Alma Gregoire, her loving husband James Svoboda Sr., and beloved son James Svoboda Jr. She is survived by her daughter Denise and son in law Sean Lovelace; grandchildren Aden Lovelace, Kennedy Lovelace, Trey Svoboda and Avery Svoboda; siblings Ernest Gregoire, Ronald Gregoire, Ann Marie DeGroat, Lucille Gregoire-Koba, Patricia Stefanski, Harold Gregoire, and Richard Gregoire; and many nieces, nephews and large loving extended family. Marguerite was dedicated to her family and was proud of caretaking for her parents in their senior years and being a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt. She loved caring for people and putting others before herself. Graveside services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. Deacon Stephen Blabac will officiate. A celebration of Marguerite's life will be held in Binghamton in the Spring or Summer. Her service can be viewed on Youtube later in the day by searching for J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home.
