Sharon L. Buchta, went home to be with the Lord on December 8, 2020 at the age of 75. Sharon was a kind and loving person. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Anna L. (Buchta) Kazmark and Joseph A. Buchta, her step-father, Leonard Kazmark, her sister, Jo-Ann C. Moore, and a dear cousin and her husband, Vivian Hohn and Duane Hohn. She is survived by her step-sister, Kathleen (Lew) Fiato, her nieces and nephews, Linda Corley (James) of Maryland, their children, Jacqueline, John and Janine, Jeffrey Moore of Maryland and Kevin Moore (Mary Tung) of Virginia, and their children, Madelyn Shiao-Hwei Moore and Andrew Ming-Hao Moore. She is also survived by many friends and neighbors as well as a special second cousin, Robin Severson, and her caregivers Teresa Witteman and Kelly O'Connor, and their families. Sharon was a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and was proud to tell you of a time in her life when she was working for the Hannah-Barbera Productions in California. Her kind spirit will be forever in our hearts and she will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the staff at Elizabeth Church Manor, and especially her nurse Tina, for all their compassion and care for Sharon. Expressions of sympathy in Sharon's memory may be made to the Elizabeth Church Manor, Binghamton, New York. She will be laid to rest next to her loving mother, sister and step-father at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, New York. Private Entombment services will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. Rev. Timothy J. Taugher will officiate.
