Obituary of Mitchell Bomysoad

Mitchell A. Bomysoad, 67, of Vestal, went to be with the Lord, when he passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Wednesday morning, January 9, 2001, at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Nellie Bomysoad. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Madeline Winkler Bomysoad; a daughter, Lillian Bomysoad; four sons and daughters-in-law, Albert and Donna Bomysoad, Fred and Kathleen Bomysoad, Mark Bomysoad, Mitch and Roseann Bomysoad; nine precious grandchildren, Jim, Steven, Christopher Eric, Kara, Kevin, Justin, Anthony and Rachel, all of Vestal; a sister and brother-in-law, Bebee and Bill Norton; brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Gwen Bomysoad; a special cousin and best friend, Saleem Bomysoad; several nieces, nephews and cousins and dear friends; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tony and Edie Winkler and Rose Barton. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal; Retired Proprietor of Ol'Salt Janitorial Service; Past master and life member of Binghamton Lodge #177 F&AM; member of Knights of Columbus Peter T. Campon Council #206. The family extends its thanks and appreciation to the wonderful caring dedicated team of doctors, nurses, medical care givers at Wilson Hospital Cardiac Care Unit. For their commitment and care and to those from Union and Vestal Emergency Squads, Friends and Family that were there for the family. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Friday, at 9:15 a.m., and at 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Mitch may be made to Our Lady of Sorrows Church Building Fund, 157 Clarke St., Vestal, N.Y. 13850, or Vestal Volunteer Emergency Squad, 324 Myrtle St., Vestal, N.Y. 13850.
