Obituary of Anne L. Farina

Anne Breslin Farina, of Binghamton, died unexpectedly Friday afternoon, January 5, 2001, at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. She is survived by her husband, Michael A. Farina, Binghamton; her daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Marc Amato, Syracuse; two granddaughters, Laura and Leslie Amato; two brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Carol Breslin, Vestal, Lee and Linda Breslin, Levittown, Pa.; two aunts, Margaret Kowalick and Mary Kelly; several nieces and cousins. Anne was a member of St. Patrick;s Church, Binghamton; a graduate of Bloomsburg University, and was an elementary school teacher in the Windsor School District, retiring after 35 years of service. She was a member of the New York State Retired Teachers Association. Funeral services will be held at the J. A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Wednesday at 9 a.m. and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Tuesday, from 4 to 7 p.m.
