Obituary of Elmer E. VanKuren

Elmer E. VanKuren, 102 years old, of Binghamton passed away Wednesday November 29, 2017 at his home. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Rabert VanKuren and his son Harry E. VanKuren and his grandson Scott VanKuren. He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law Elmer and Jacqueline VanKuren, Ohio and William VanKuren, Binghamton; five grandchildren William A., Kevin S., Jeffrey S., Laurie VanKuren and Joanne Scudder; several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a special friend Katherine Lutzic. He was a retired employee of Endicott-Johnson Shoe Corporation and Serafini Limousine Service. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Saturday at 9 a.m. Rev. David C. Seaver will officiate. Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery, Hillcrest. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.
