Obituary of Lucy Jackson

Lucy M. Jackson, 80, of Binghamton died Tuesday March 14, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband Harry C. Jackson and her twin brother Michael L. Vaccaro. She is survived by her children, Judith and George Higgs; Mary and John Reed; William and Sarah Jackson; 4 grandchildren Nicole and Joseph Reed; Donovan and Leigha Jackson; a sister-in-law Cecelia Vaccaro; two nieces and one nephew. She was a member of the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Binghamton. She was an avid N.Y. Yankee fan and very devoted to her grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff at Ideal Senior Living Center, especially her aide Brittany. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Vestal Avenue, Binghamton, Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.
