Obituary of Mary Jane Papastrat

Mary Jane Papastrat, 58 of Binghamton died Wednesday morning, November 18, 2015 at her home. She was predeceased by her parents, Peter H. and Mary A. Papastrat and her sister, Dr. Helen P. Papastrat. She is survived by her dear friend, Michael Taylor; her aunts, Mary Gianakouros, Vasiliki Volkwein, Penelope Eggleston; several cousins. She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Binghamton. Mary Jane graduated from Binghamton Central High School, where she was Class President and graduated from Cornell University where she was Head Football Cheerleader. Funeral services will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 214 Court Street, Binghamton, on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 10AM. Reverend Father Michael Bahlatzis will officiate. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell.
